Autumn Highlights

“It’s always a good idea to go slightly warmer with your hair colour during the Autumn months because your skin tone changes and by adding warmer tones to your hair colour you will avoid looking washed out.

For blondes try a combination of highlights that compliment each other, colours such as apricot, toffee and strawberry blondes work well. I also recommend using a technique called micro-foiling for blondes, which involves using a combination of extremely fine highlights to create a shimmer of colour through your hair for a glamorous look.

For brunettes rich mahogany and chocolate colours, teamed with caramel and copper highlights will give your hair colour an instant lift. Don’t be afraid to experiment with red tones to give your hair warmth, it’s the perfect time of year to try adding some rich red undertones to your hair.”
